Top 5 July Makeup Buys

The amount of makeup I bought in July really made my eyes water when I look back (cries over bank account), so picking 5 top products was a real struggle , but I really narrowed it down and picked five of my favourite July buys Glossier Cloud Paint - Dusk  I bought these after months of drooling over them and they did not disappoint. They are my favourite cream blushes ever, they look so natural and not powdery on the skin. I just feel like I look so alive when I wear these. I have four colours, haze, beam, storm and dusk. Dusk is 100000% my favourite, it has a little bit of rosiness, but the worth and nudeness, to be used as a bronzer. I wear this on my lips, my eyelids, my cheeks. It's one of those wonder products that can be used in so many different ways and the packaging is so cute and easy to use. Nyx Eyebrow Gel - Espresso This month my eyebrows had been driving me insane. I don't know why but they just never seemed to match my hair colour or they would look s...

Tried and Tested - Gallinée Skincare Review

If you've read any of my previous blogs you will know by now I have a bit of a skincare obsession (I say a bit but it's becoming a problem) so I was over the moon when Gallinée decided to send me some of their products to review. This brand is incredible, their products are focused around prebitocs, probiotics and lactic acid, which are designed to nourish your skin's natural bacteria. There products also have the same pH as the skin so means there are no harsh chemicals and nothing to strong or acidic on the skin. Cleansing Bar I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of bar soaps, I find they can be messy and sudsy and just become a general nightmare, but I loved this bar, I invested in a little soap dish and have had no problem with it. The bar also dries quick so doesn't get messy or too soapy. This is the only cleansing bar in my collection and I love it, I've been converted! I run the bar under water in between my hands and it forms such a good lather ...

My Acne Skincare Routine

I've had acne since I was bout 12 and I'm now 19, if you have acne you will know the endless struggle of trying every skincare product under the sun praying that this will be the one to make the difference... and it doesn't. So after buying SO many products, I thought do I actually know what I'm putting on my face and why?  A year ago I decided to really look at what I was putting on my skin and why I was putting it on and a year later, poomf! I now only get the odd hormonal spot flaring up, but my acne and scarring is gone! Here's a rundown on the AM and PM routine that saved my skin. AM 1. In the morning I only wash my face with warm water, as using a cleanser twice a day can actually be too harsh on your skin and strip it of natural oils, so I use a muslin cloth and just press it against my skin. I find this so much more beneficial than using a cleanser twice a day! 2.La Roche-Posay Soothing Toning Lotion  I love toners and think they are so underrated, bu...

Reviewing Uberliss Haircare

I love a good haircare routine. I'll happily spend hours watching haircare routine's and drooling over celebrities flowing locks. After years of box dyes and straightening and curling it was time to take action. If you've read my other blogs you'll know I'm obsessed with anything that conditions my hair, fights frizz and protects, So when Uberliss kindly sent me their three step nourishing routine, I was over the moon! I've been trying these products for about two weeks now and have been really surprised by the results. 1. Uberliss Nutritive Mask Haircare masks always scare me, I feel like it's a really fine line between my hair looking all shiny and healthy and looking like a greasy, greasy mess. The Uberliss hair mask is really gloopy and sticky, it looks like cake batter in consistency and honestly smells like heaven. I've used this a few times now and find that leaving it on for the recommend 15 minutes definitely gives the best results. This d...

Foundation Reviews - Mac Face And Body Foundation

Good old Mac Face and Body, I cannot tell you how many people I know that swear by this foundation and use it for pretty much any night/daytime occasion you could imagine. It's one of those all rounder foundations that is loved by so so many people and has become a cult classic of its own right. So I love the packaging, whoever designed this needs a knighthood or a big mansion or just a big pay rise. It is so so easy to travel with and just looks so minimal and classic, out of all of my foundations, this is by far my favourite packaging. Not to mention you get 50ml, as oppose to a regular foundation which on average contains around 30ml. This is so easy to keep clean, and apply to a brush, fingers or directly to the face. This is really similar to the Glossier Skin Tint Packaging but the Mac face and body just feels a bit more sturdy and firmer. so overall packaging is defiantly a 30/10. The texture itself is like water, you can really move it around but then it kind of turns...

How To Stop Your Hair Frying In The Heat

Summer, that time of year where everything looks perfect, the trees are green, the sun is shining and I can finally whip out those cute dresses I've been pining for all winter....But it's all fun and games until your hair turns into a ball of frizz. Nothing ruins my summer vibes more than turning to the mirror and looking like something Dr. Frank 'N' Furter created in Rocky Horror. The heat, humidity and UV Rays do absolutely nothing for my hair. But over the years I've learnt ways of dealing with my crazy hair and the products essential for maintaining my summer style. 1. REDKEN One United Multi Benefit Treatment If you only ever use one product on your hair, use this! In summer I can't apply loads and loads of product to my hair because it just becomes so heavy and bogged down, so I like to find products that can multi-task and go above and beyond. This product is insane, it has 25 benefits to using this and includes nourishing, detangling, frizz control,...
