Foundation Reviews - Glossier Skin Tint

Glossier is probably the most hyped up brand ever. It is everywhere I turn, on instagram, in my dreams and before I know it I'm applying to it my face. I deliberated for so long about buying this because although it's light coverage, I saw so many reviews claiming it was pointless as it had practically zero coverage. I do like light coverage foundations, but i feel like I need something to justify spending £20, if I'm just going to look the exact same. The texture is really strange it feels like a watery oil when you squeeze the bottle. I love the bottle though because it comes out in drops, so I never over use it. It blends out effortlessly, but really does blend into nothing. I have to be having a seriously good skin day, or be boiling hot to be able to wear this. I do like this with a full coverage concealer, as the tint evens out my skin tone, and then the concealer really gets to work with the coverage. I have tried to use this product so many different ways and ...

Products you need from Bioderma

No matter how hard I try I simply cannot resit Bioderma. No matter how strong my will or how much I convince myself I only need cotton pads, I guarantee I'm picking up another 5 Bioderma Products whether I like it or not. For me this is my go to skincare on a budget, the quality of Bioderma's products is undeniably good and I can guarantee my skin will love me overtime I use it. These are my three key items from Bioderma that I can't live without and should be a staple of any skincare routine 1. Bioderma Sensibo H2O Micellar Water No words can describe my love for this product. I adore this micellar water and can use it on my eyes lips and face and it just doesn't sting. I have already gone through 3 500ml bottles of this and will continue to buy and buy again. It removes my makeup, mascara and leaves my skin so calm and smooth. I have tried so many other micellar waters but not nothing compares to this and is without a doubt my forever micellar water! 2. Bioderm...

Ranking my concealers from best to worst

Concealer is a true staple of my makeup routine, no matter how short on time I am, it's the one thing I can't skip, I literally use this like a magic wand to cover my dark circles, acne scars and even my skin tone ( I know I expect miracles ). So as any makeup obsessor does I decided to rank them from best to worst. 1. Bare minerals powder concealer Hands down my all time favourite concealer. I don't know what bare minerals put in this powder but it's insane. The concealer is a power and I apply it with an eyeshadow crease brush, under my eyes and acne scars. It's the only concealer I own that really covers blemishes properly. It doesn't leave any texture and literally looks like it's just erased my blemish. It also looks amazing under the eyes and gives my skin an airbrushed 'good nights sleep effect'. It blends out seamlessly and stays put all day. This is such an under rated concealer, and if you're someone losing faith in a concealer act...

Foundation Reviews - L'oreal True Match

Ahhh Loreal true match, a true staple of the drugstore. One of those foundations I have heard so much about I just had to try. First off the shade range in this foundation is incredible. There are so many shades and more than a lot of luxury makeup brands. This is a great start as it was so easy to find a shade that not only matched my skin colour but also matched the undertone of my skin. The texture is quite thick, it is like a cream and applies quite thick onto the skin. It has a really glowing texture to it, but the one thing I notice is that this just doesn't last on my face. I have real difficulty stopping this foundation from sliding off my face. As soon as I put it on, it looks stunning, like I'm ready for vogue, but by the end of the day all my scarring is peaking through and it looks like it has all slid off. I have tried so many different primers with this product but have had the same result will them all. I don't have oily skin and find that some of my mo...

Quick 5 Minute Makeup Routine

With exams coming up, I barely have time to breathe let alone apply a full face of makeup. So as I am trying to cram in as much information as humanly possible, I only have time to apply the bare minimum so I can get up and out and bury my head in a book. These are my drugstore essentials for a quick and easy makeup look that won't take all day. 1) Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer  This is a recent purchase of mine and can honestly say it has become my go to concealer, it blends so effortlessly and looks great on its own without foundation. The applicator is really easy to use as I can just apply it where I need it and blend it out. It's also really cheap and great value for money. 2)Real Techniques XL blending brush This brush is a god send It is literally the only the brush I reach for in a rush because I can do just about everything with this brush, I can blend out concealer, apply powder, blush, bronzer, I could probably use this brush to summon a unicorn it ...

Foundation Reviews - It Cosmetics CC Cream

Another episode in the 'quest for the perfect foundation' saga brings us to It Cosmetics, cult classic, CC cream. This is branded as your skin but better and has so many claims it makes me feel like I'm wearing something made at Hogwarts. This is a tube foundation which is amazing I love a good tube, it fits in my makeup bag , I can travel without fear of smashing and I find i rarely waste any product because the tube just pumps it all out. The consistency is a thick cream and does have quite a heavy feel to it. Whenever I wear this I definitely feel it sitting on my face and doesn't feel as light as some of my other foundations. But this is a full coverage CC Cream, so i kind of expected it to feel a little heavier than say a tinted moisturiser. One thing I can say is this stuff stays on... and lasts! I can apply this in the hottest of weather and guarantee it won't budge from when I leave the house to when I get back! So this is my go to foundation for vaca...
