I Tried Cosmopolitan's Hoarding Challenge And I Spent How Much?

So last year, I stumbled across an article in cosmopolitan, by Laura Capon, who decided to see how much makeup she could use in a year, if she fully finished a product before moving on to another one. After looking at my pretty huge stash of supplies, I thought this was the intervention from God that I required. So as of New Year's Day 2018, I decided to save everything I used and evaluate how much I actually need! PRIMERS  I use primer as a moisturiser so it doesn't shock me that I went through 4 in a year, as I pretty much wear this everyday, even without makeup. On average that means one lasts me about 3 months, which I ain't mad about. Smashbox Primeriser £30 (£90 as I used 3), MAC Strobe Cream in Pinklite £25 Total = £115 FOUNDATION   So I also got through 4 foundations this year. How To Build An Acne Skincare Routine From The Ordinary

When I first stumbled across the brand The Ordinary, I was hooked. I loved the packaging, the minimalist look, the price point... but I was beyond overwhelmed with the amount of products and where to even start, on attempting to build a skincare routine. I felt as though I had built a lego house and had been asked to build a palace for the Queen... This is designed to reduce redness and target congested pores I just put about two drops all over my skin! 3 - If I have any breakouts I love to put a tiny amount of the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% on the spot, as I feel like it really protects my ...

Glossier's Skin Tint was a product I always thought was not for me...Barely there, watery, sheer and no coverage, didn't really sound like a good match for acne prone skin. But, fear not, just because you have acne and blemishes does not mean you can't wear sheer coverage! One of the reasons I love this because you can use it so many different ways! I have regular hormonal acne and intense scarring, particularly around my cheekbone area... but that doesn't mean I want to wear full coverage foundation everyday, so here are some ways I use Glossier's skin tint, whilst having cystic acne. 1. LAYER WITH CONCEALER So one of my favourite things to do when wearing Glossier's Skin Tint is use a high coverage concealer in areas that need it. So I will go in with my Nars matte concealer and spot conceal my cystic acne and then put a few drops of the skin tint on a brush and buff it into my skin. This evens out my skin tone and really blends my concealer into my skin,...
