How To Wear Glossier Skin Tint With Acne + Scarring

Glossier's Skin Tint was a product I always thought was not for me...Barely there, watery, sheer and no coverage, didn't really sound like a good match for acne prone skin. But, fear not, just because you have acne and blemishes does not mean you can't wear sheer coverage! One of the reasons I love this because you can use it so many different ways! I have regular hormonal acne and intense scarring, particularly around my cheekbone area... but that doesn't mean I want to wear full coverage foundation everyday, so here are some ways I use Glossier's skin tint, whilst having cystic acne.

1. LAYER WITH CONCEALER
So one of my favourite things to do when wearing Glossier's Skin Tint is use a high coverage concealer in areas that need it. So I will go in with my Nars matte concealer and spot conceal my cystic acne and then put a few drops of the skin tint on a brush and buff it into my skin. This evens out my skin tone and really blends my concealer into my skin, so it just looks like skin. I hate wearing concealer on its own as I feel like my skin looks patchy... but with a skin tint over the top it looks like I have no makeup on, but with perfect skin! This is a great way to cover the areas you want without feeling like you have no option but to wear heavy makeup.

2. MIX IT INTO A HIGH COVERAGE FOUNDATION
I know as well as anyone that high coverage foundation can look pretty unnatural and if you are going for a no makeup makeup look, using a high coverage foundation may not be the ideal choice. But if you still want coverage but want a more natural finish, take your favourite foundation and mix in a few drops of Glossier's Skin Tint. This gives any high coverage foundation, a gorgeous dewy glow, which still covers all my problem areas, but just looks a bit more natural.

3. MIX IT WITH A HIGH COVERAGE CONCEALER
This is my favourite way to use skin tint by far... I take my favourite concealer, which at the minute is my Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer and wipe the applicator on the back of my hand, leaving a bit of product. I then mix in a few drops of Glossier Skin Tint and use it as a foundation. It gives a really nice effect and essentially just adds a bit of coverage to the Tint.

4.LOVE YOUR SKIN!
My last way of wearing skin tint is just as it is. Yes I have cystic acne, and this will definitely not hide it. But as I get older the more I realise, there is no such thing as perfect skin, and learning to love your own skin for all its flaws and imperfections is the key to confidence. The more and more I used skin tint the more I found myself accepting my acne and skin! So don't feel like you have to cover your skin. Love who you are !

Bioderma Sensibio Range Review - PR

If you've been around for a long time you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands and they were kind enough to send me their Sensibio range to try out.  The Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water needs no introduction. It's a staple in so many makeup artists routines and it's easy to see why. I've gone through so many of these micellar waters and nothing quite compares for me. This is the foundation of my morning skincare and is just enough cleansing without stripping my face. It's such a beautiful formula that leaves my skin looking super refreshed.  I also received a few goodies I haven't tried before including the Sensibio eye contour gel . This really surprised me as I usually steer towards creams when it comes to eye cream, but I was super impressed with the gel. It feels more like a creamy gel and glides beautifully under the eyes and makes the perfect base for concealer. I've actually been using this in the morning as I find the gel i...

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r Bronzer - Pale Skin Review

I had been dying to purchase one of these bronzers since they came out and after months of resisting finally caved in! There are 8 shades which is great as there is a large range to choose from, depending on how you like your bronzer. Naturally I am quite pale and for reference I am the shade 120 in the Fenty Foundation and 150 Buff in Revlon's colour stay foundation, and even in summer, I never really change that much from these shades. From being so pale, the fear of the bronzer is real, I haven't found any that look natural and don't leave me looking orange, muddy, or like i have a some kind of smudge on my face. So I decided to try the lightest bronzer Fenty Beauty had to offer, Inda Sun. From swatching the shade appears pretty neutral and light, it doesn't have a red undertone that can leave pale skin looking orange. I also love the gold packaging and how luxury and sleek it feels. I used the same brush I would normally use for bronzer which is my real tech...

Isle Of Paradise Self- Tanning Water Review

So throughout the year, I am pretty much Casper the ghost when it comes to having a tan and when summer comes round, I just can't face my translucent legs any longer... bring on the tan! So usually my go to is Bondi Sands, but I was just drawn to the uniqueness of the tanning mist! This comes in three colours, designed to match your skin tone which is pretty cool, there's a pink (light) , green (medium) and purple (dark). I am pale but have an olive undertone to my skin so decided to go for medium because usually the lightest ones don't show up on my skin particularly well. So I did all the usual steps of tanning, 24 hours earlier I exfoliated my skin and moisturised (especially around my ankles and wrists) and then I got down to actually applying it. When you spray this stuff, you're supposed to spray it from a reasonable distance and just keep spritzing until you're basically soaked in the stuff. I had a really hard time getting this to work and I was so dis...
