Bioderma Sensibio Range Review - PR

If you've been around for a long time you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands and they were kind enough to send me their Sensibio range to try out.  The Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water needs no introduction. It's a staple in so many makeup artists routines and it's easy to see why. I've gone through so many of these micellar waters and nothing quite compares for me. This is the foundation of my morning skincare and is just enough cleansing without stripping my face. It's such a beautiful formula that leaves my skin looking super refreshed.  I also received a few goodies I haven't tried before including the Sensibio eye contour gel . This really surprised me as I usually steer towards creams when it comes to eye cream, but I was super impressed with the gel. It feels more like a creamy gel and glides beautifully under the eyes and makes the perfect base for concealer. I've actually been using this in the morning as I find the gel i...

All The Makeup I Used Up in 2020

2020 has been a crazy year.. but the one thing that's kept me sane is my makeup routine. Even though I've spent all year at home, I've still worn makeup pretty much everyday, so I've still managed to use up quite a lot of products.  PRIMER  I got through 3 primers this year which I'm super happy about. I usually don't switch up my primers and will use one until it runs out.  Glossier Future Dew = £23, Nars Radiance Primer = £29, Smashbox Primerizer = £30 Total = £83 Foundation  I am terrible at using up foundations and finishing more is definitely a new years resolution of mine. I only managed to get through one this year. Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation = £8.99    Total = £8.99 Concealer I got through 4 concealers this year and this is because at the start of lockdown no.1 I gave up on foundation.. but I found I was just using up so much concealer so went back to using a base product first.  HUDA beauty Overachiev...

November Empties

So I'm trying out a different way of showing you my empties this month (exciting I know!) and I'm going to break my empties down into skincare, haircare and makeup!  MAKEUP  Fenty Bronzer - £25 After two years my Fenty bronzer is finally finished. There is hardly any fall out to this bronzer which makes it so hard to finish. The formula is really buttery and smooth and the shade Inda Sun is the perfect cool toned bronzer.  Recommend - 100%  Repurchase Yes - After I've used up a few more bronzers!  Elf Lip Lacquer - £3 This was purely a lockdown purchase. I wanted to wear a comfy gloss instead of lipstick but didn't want to pay a lot... when I wasn't going anywhere. The elf lip lacquer's are super comfy, long wearing and really glossy. The only down side is they contain 2.5 ml of product, but for £3 I'm not complaining.  Recommend - YES Repurchase - For £3... I'll take 10  SKINCARE  Ole Henriksen - Banana Bright Eye Creme - £32 This just did...

October Empties

So another month has rolled by and I thought I'd update you on all the products I've cranked through. The first product I finished up was the Glossier Moisturising Moon Mask. When I initially bought this in March I was super surprised at how small it was... but I've only just finished it, it's lasted me 5 months which I couldn't believe. I enjoyed this mask, it really helped my skin on accutane and is a great skincare product for the transition of the seasons. I do have other masks I prefer, so I don't know if I would go out of my way to purchase this again, but if I was purchasing a Glossier order... I would definitely pick one up.  Speaking of Glossier, I also finished up my wowder powder. I have had this forever... and I bought this before the shade expansion so the colour I have is a little too dark for my pale skin. If you've seen my instagram , you'll know I have a slight setting powder problem (borderline addiction) and I have way to many. So I m...

Plenaire Skincare Review

I'm not gonna lie, the first time I saw Plenaire's packaging I fell in love. It really was love at first sight. I would go as far to say it's my favourite product packaging of all time. The more I looked into the products, the further in love I fell. Plenaire kindly allowed me to choose some of their products* to try and here are my thoughts. The first product I chose was the Rose Jelly Gentle Makeup Remover. The texture really intrigued me and I'm a sucker for anything rose related when it comes to skincare. The texture is really unique, It melts on to the face like a  cleansing balm, but removes makeup like an oil. I absolutely love this product, it removes my makeup thoroughly and doesn't strip my skin. There is a slight fragrance, but it's really subtle, not overwhelming or intense. The only thing I would say, is I find this stings my eyes a little, but ever since I've been on accutane, my eyes have been super dry and sensitive (I use drops every day), ...

Samarité Skincare Review - 1 Month Update

Samarité kindly sent over some of their products* for me to try last month and I thought I would give a 1 month update. I love nothing more than being able to fully test a product before writing a final review, so over the past month I've incorporated these products into my AM and PM skincare routine.    The first product Samatiré sent over was the  Divine Elixir . This is probably my favourite product from the collection. It's a really lovely lightweight elixir, that performs and feels like an essence. One thing I love about this is how quickly it absorbs into my skin. It's not greasy or oily, so is perfect as part of my AM and PM skincare routine. Since using this, I have found my skin is glowing and I mean glowing... I've ditched highlighter completely since using this. My skin looks like I've just had a facial every time I use this, my skin is juicy, plump and super hydrated.   - The only con is the shelf life is 6 months, which isn't that long for a p...

Reviewing Bioderma's Hydrabio Range

If you've followed my blog for a few years, you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands. Their Micellar water is a product I refuse to live without and I've gone through too many to count. I was over the moon when Bioderma kindly sent me their Hydrabio Range* to try. The Hydrabio range is aimed at combating dehydrated, dry, skin, which I'm especially prone to in winter. 1. Hydrabio Makeup Removing Micellar Water Now, Bioderma's Sensibio micellar water is a holy grail skincare product in my collection. Believe it or not, I didn't realise Bioderma did other varieties of micellar water for different skin concerns. I've been using the Hydrabio micellar water for a few days and I do find my skin feels more hydrated and plump, compared to the sensibio one. It removes makeup just as well as the Sensibio micellar water and I find the Hydrabio micellar water to be a little more gentle and soothing. I would definitely repurchase the Hydrabio version in...
