January Empties

There is nothing more I love than reading blogs about empties! This sounds weird I know, but I feel like when you use a product to the end, you have a better understanding of how it works and whether you would repurchase it! So I decided to do my own, these are all the products I used up in January!

SKINCARE
1. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
This is the only cleanser I've used since December and I adore it. I use it morning and night and this is the best cleanser I have ever used. I've already bought the larger version of this, so it may be a while before you see it again in an empties video!

2.Vichy 89 Mineral Booster
I have loved this to the end! I didn't really enjoy this when my skin was normal and oily, but when my skin became dry (aka the Sahara Dessert) I could not use enough of it! This was on my skin morning and night and I really love how hydrating and moisturising it is. Again I have repurchased this and can't wait to use it again!

3. Kiehl's Hydro Plumping Re-texturising Serum Concentrate
I cannot believe how long this product has lasted me! I got this last May... LAST MAY, thats about 9 months! The lady in the shop said you only needed half a pump and she was right! This lasted me so long! I don't know whether I'd repurchase this, it is hydrating and has done a great job of plumping of my skin but  don't know if it's hydrating enough for me at the moment.

4. Eucerin Acute Lip Balm
It will probably be no surprise that I have used up this lip balm, as my lips are constantly dry from accutane. I've actually already used three of these this month alone and it's only going to get worse! These are really hydrating and I do prefer gel formulas to sticks, which do run out quicker.

MAKEUP
1. Fenty Beauty - Gloss Bomb
I never thought I was a lip gloss kinda girl until I tried this. I never saw the appeal of lipglosses; they come off easily, are super sticky, get in your hair. But this is amazing! I love the colour, the feel of and it really does last. I loved this so much I wore it on my wedding day. I already have another one waiting in the wings (thanks mum) so I can't wait to be wearing this again!

2.Dior Lip Glow
It was a sad day when I'd used this up. For the past month I'd been scraping what I could out of the tube but it was time to say goodbye. For me this is a more 'summery' kind of lip look; glowy, hydrating and sheer. So I may repurchase this in summer!

3. Nyx Epic Ink Liner
I wasn't too fussed about this liner to be honest. I got the shade brown for something less intense on my eyes and the formula didn't have much pigment and felt quite watery. There are much better alternatives out there for less money, like the makeup revolution Renaissance Eyeliner, so I don't think I'll be repurchasing this any time soon.

4.Natural Collection - Volume Mascara
This mascara is £2.49 ... and it is incredible. This is the best drugstore mascara I have ever tried. It doesn't smudge, flake, transfer and it makes my lashes look lifted and curled. I also have super sensitive eyes and this doesn't make my eyes water or itch in the slightest. Will 100% repurchase!

That's it for the empties blog! Let me know if you want more of this kind of blog and don't forget to follow my blog in the top corner of the home page !

Bioderma Sensibio Range Review - PR

If you've been around for a long time you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands and they were kind enough to send me their Sensibio range to try out.  The Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water needs no introduction. It's a staple in so many makeup artists routines and it's easy to see why. I've gone through so many of these micellar waters and nothing quite compares for me. This is the foundation of my morning skincare and is just enough cleansing without stripping my face. It's such a beautiful formula that leaves my skin looking super refreshed.  I also received a few goodies I haven't tried before including the Sensibio eye contour gel . This really surprised me as I usually steer towards creams when it comes to eye cream, but I was super impressed with the gel. It feels more like a creamy gel and glides beautifully under the eyes and makes the perfect base for concealer. I've actually been using this in the morning as I find the gel i...

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk'r Bronzer - Pale Skin Review

I had been dying to purchase one of these bronzers since they came out and after months of resisting finally caved in! There are 8 shades which is great as there is a large range to choose from, depending on how you like your bronzer. Naturally I am quite pale and for reference I am the shade 120 in the Fenty Foundation and 150 Buff in Revlon's colour stay foundation, and even in summer, I never really change that much from these shades. From being so pale, the fear of the bronzer is real, I haven't found any that look natural and don't leave me looking orange, muddy, or like i have a some kind of smudge on my face. So I decided to try the lightest bronzer Fenty Beauty had to offer, Inda Sun. From swatching the shade appears pretty neutral and light, it doesn't have a red undertone that can leave pale skin looking orange. I also love the gold packaging and how luxury and sleek it feels. I used the same brush I would normally use for bronzer which is my real tech...

How To Streamline Your Skincare Routine

Lately I have been feeling so overwhelmed with makeup, skincare and brushes and decided to take it back to basics. Having a simple skincare routine is great for your skin, cost effective and stops me changing my routine every day! I decided to make a routine and stick to it.. mainly in an attempt to stop my acne! 1. Cleanser  A cleanser is a must! Ensuring all that makeup and grime is off your face is one of the most important steps. I love this Pai, Camellia and Rose Cleanser , but it is a littttlleee expensive, another great alternative is the Nivea Daily Basics Face Wash.  If I want to make my cleanser last longer ( especially the ones that make my eyes water looking at the price ), I will just use micellar water, like the Bioderma one and a cotton pad in the morning and save my cleanser for night, but one cleanser will do the trick! 2. A Toner  Without a toner my skin feels tight and dry. The Liz Earle Skin Tonic, has been a favourite for years, it sm...
