Which Jo Malone Product Is Worth The Splurge?

When my Wedding Day came round after years of planning, I took the opportunity to drown my self in Jo Malone everything. My parents and my beautiful Husband truly spoiled me in Jo Malone goodness and all day I could smell the dreamy fragrance on my skin... But it got me thinking if i could have only chosen one product to wear, which one would it be?

The fragrance was the first product I tried and I went for the sent of Wood Sage & Sea Salt, as it didn't smell too florally and went with the woodland theme of our wedding. The fragrance lasts such a long time and four sprays easily lasts all day and doesn't need topping up in an evening! This was really easy to carry round and especially when I bought a perfume pod that allowed me to carry round an even smaller amount and take it abroad! I loved having a special fragrance on my wedding day and scents bring back my strongest memories!

The next product I tried was the Body and Hand Wash in the scent of Wood Sage & Sea Salt. There was something really special about having a bath on the morning of my wedding and indulging my body in this scent. The smell is incredible and so strong which really surprised me! I feel like this formed a really nice foundation for the perfume to stick to and feels so luxurious!

Finally the Body Cream... this is too die for, it doesn't feel sticky, it smells amazing and a little bit goes a long way. Out of the three products, this has the strongest scent and I focused it on my wrists and chest so I could smell it more in the day!

Out of the three, I would say the fragrance is an essential, as it really is the most easy to use daily and is nice to spray when I want a reminder of my wedding! If you really want to splurge, the body wash and cream are divine and feel beautiful on the skin, but you can't beat a perfume!

June Empties

I can't believe another month has rolled around and it's time for another monthly empties review. I got through six products this month (I know, I'm proud) and it was a bit of a mix of everything; Haircare, Skincare and makeup. Firstly, I used up my La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Sensitive SPF 50 Sunscreen. This isn't my favourite SPF but it does do the job. I wear three pumps of this on my face every day and it has lasted about 3 months. I think the formula is ok it can feel a bit sticky and takes a while to sink in but it isn't my favourite but it isn't a product I don't like. I have repurchased this, because SPF is THE most important part of my skincare routine and when I ran out I knew I could run to Superdrug and repurchase this, because I did not want to go without. Secondly, I finished my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. I cannot remember the last time I finished a foundation! This is, without a doubt, my favourite drugstore foundation. It bl...

July Empties

Ahhh another month another empties blog. I actually got through quite a bit of makeup this month, which is unusual for me as it's usually skincare I crank through.  The first product I used up was my beloved Glossier Futuredew. I didn't realise how much I loved this until it was gone. My makeup feels so much different without this as a base and I do miss it as part of my makeup routine. I have a few other primers to get through but I will definitely repurchase this one in the future. The second product I used was my benefit liquid eyeliner. I did like this liner; it's opaque, the felt tip is quite nice and it lasted such a long time before drying up. I do prefer brush tipped eyeliners as I find with hooded eyes my winged eyeliner always looks a lot more precise than with a pen style. So I purchased the KVD liquid eyeliner instead, but the benefit eyeliner is great just not my favourite.  My third empty is my smash box primer water. I adore this spray, it comes out as a f...

Reviewing Bioderma's Hydrabio Range

If you've followed my blog for a few years, you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands. Their Micellar water is a product I refuse to live without and I've gone through too many to count. I was over the moon when Bioderma kindly sent me their Hydrabio Range* to try. The Hydrabio range is aimed at combating dehydrated, dry, skin, which I'm especially prone to in winter. 1. Hydrabio Makeup Removing Micellar Water Now, Bioderma's Sensibio micellar water is a holy grail skincare product in my collection. Believe it or not, I didn't realise Bioderma did other varieties of micellar water for different skin concerns. I've been using the Hydrabio micellar water for a few days and I do find my skin feels more hydrated and plump, compared to the sensibio one. It removes makeup just as well as the Sensibio micellar water and I find the Hydrabio micellar water to be a little more gentle and soothing. I would definitely repurchase the Hydrabio version in...
