Which Jo Malone Product Is Worth The Splurge?

When my Wedding Day came round after years of planning, I took the opportunity to drown my self in Jo Malone everything. My parents and my beautiful Husband truly spoiled me in Jo Malone goodness and all day I could smell the dreamy fragrance on my skin... But it got me thinking if i could have only chosen one product to wear, which one would it be? The fragrance was the first product I tried and I went for the sent of Wood Sage & Sea Salt, as it didn't smell too florally and went with the woodland theme of our wedding. The fragrance lasts such a long time and four sprays easily lasts all day and doesn't need topping up in an evening! This was really easy to carry round and especially when I bought a perfume pod that allowed me to carry round an even smaller amount and take it abroad! I loved having a special fragrance on my wedding day and scents bring back my strongest memories! The next product I tried was the Body and Hand Wash in the scent of Wood Sage & Sea ...

How To Travel Like A Pro With The Flat Lay Co.

I am notoriously a messy traveler. I have no technique in packing and usually result in a throw it in and hope kind of strategy! So when The Flat Lay Co. reached out to me, my problems were solved! This bag is a saviour as it's perfectly designed to fit all my essentials and I can literally pull the drawstring and all my mess is neat and tidy again! If you pull the drawstring, the bag unfolds to a large flat circle, which has brush holders, a zip pouch and a large space for my other essentials! I particularly love the space for my brushes because I tend to leave my brushes anywhere and everywhere. The bag is super easy to use and has so much space, but it pulls up to a tiny ball that takes up no room in my suitcase when travelling! Finally, they have so many prints to choose from, so I chose the lemon print from their new summer collection! They also have a smaller bag available if you have less to travel with! I adore this bag and it keeps the unorganised me organised ...

Tried & Tested - New Revlon Candid Foundation

It's no secret that I love wearing foundation, and in summer, although I love a full face of makeup, I love letting my skin breathe. So when I saw Revlon's new Candid foundation, I could not resist! I was drawn to this because the packaging and claims remind me of the It Cosmetics CC Cream and thought this may be a more affordable dupe. The packaging is my kind of packaging, a tube with a pump. I love this for travelling and find it easier to throw in a bag if I'm in a rush. The texture of this foundation is like a cream and I find it applies best when I use my fingers. It blends into my skin seamlessly and gives a nice light to medium coverage, it covers my acne scars but doesn't look thick. The shade range isn't the best, as I got the shade 240 as i am a bit more tanned in summer, but the lightest concealer shade which is 10 matches the shade 240, so I wish the concealer shades could be lighter and a wider range in the foundation, but as it is light covera...

My Santorini Beauty Adventure

While I was on my honeymoon in the beautiful, Greek Island of Santorini, I saw an article on Into The Gloss by Tom Newton about Greek Pharmacies and the hidden beauty gems you can find there, so I decided to go on my own little greek adventure! I had my eye on a few skincare essentials before I arrived and couldn't resist picking a few up whilst I was there! The first brand I had my eye on were the Apivita face and hair masks, I picked up the Moisturising Sea Lavender face pack and the aloe face pack as my skin was super dehydrated from the 39 degree Celsius weather and really needed a nice round of moisture and rehydration. I also got the moisturising hair pack as my hair was really feeling it from the hot weather! The next brand I was dying to try was Korres, as it's pretty hard to find in the UK and it originates from Athens, so when in Greece! I love a good hand cream so picked up this olive blossom hand cream, for the flight home as it was travel sized. I a...
