With every day getting colder and darker. It's no surprise my lips are getting extremely chapped and dry (darn you cold weather). This tends to cause a problem for me because I am obsessed with liquid lipsticks! OBSESSED! So when winter rolls around, I become extremely picky and only wear the liquid lipsticks that I know won't dry my lips out. 1 .NARSissist Power Pack Lip Pigment - Le Freak Nars liquid lipsticks are one of my all time favourite formulas. They feel so comfortable and non-drying on the lips, while staying put all day! The formula feels so creamy and doesn't have that heavy liquid lipstick feeling. The texture is so buttery and rich and it really doesn't feel like a liquid lipstick to me. It is also really long wearing, so if you are going out you know this will stay put! 2. Some may say setting sprays aren't an essential step and are just an extra way of ensuring your makeup doesn't move... For me, setting sprays are life or death. Without a good setting spray my makeup just won't last. Full Stop. In my opinion the Urban Decay All Nighter and Mac Fix + are two of the best, but which is the best ? Which is the number one setting spray worth a splurge on? THE COST  UD ALL NIGHTER  - 118ml for £24.00. It is pretty pricey for a spray, but you do get more product in the Urban Decay Spray than the 100ml in Mac Fix Plus. MAC FIX + - 100ml for £19.00. This is still up there in price, but is not as expensive as the Urban Decay one. I actually prefer the size of this because I can take it in a liquids bag on a plane, without having to purchase a travel sized one, like I do for Urban Decay. Ahhhh Double wear... I cannot tell you how many times I have reached for this over the past few years! It is an iconic staple in any professional and everyday makeup kit. I recently repurchased this after trying a few other foundations and I have to say it's the one I always go back to! First off, Estēe Lauder offer a shade matching service for the double wear foundation. They use this little device that scans certain parts of your face and neck to find your ideal colour... let me just say this has never worked on me. The colour that the machine selects, has always been so far off my actual match and has selected the wrong undertone, colour, shade everything, so take what the machine says with a pinch of salt and make sure the colour is tried on you before you buy it. If you can't already tell, I colour match myself to the foundation and am usually the shade 1N1 Ivory Nude.
