Top 5 Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks

So when it comes to lipsticks, there is no doubt that Urban Decays are my one true love. I have far too many of these lipsticks, because i just love them so much. They are so creamy, last all day, don't dry out my lips and provide full colour on the lips ( not patch or wishy-washy ) they have 6 formulas which are; metallized, cream, matte, sheer, shimmer and comfort matte. All of them are amazing, but if your thinking of buying any, these are my favourite colours and finishes!

1. Uptight, Comfort Matte
Honestly one of my favourite lipsticks. It's a really beautiful nude that doesn't wash my fair skin out. It's a warm dusty rose colour, that glides over my lips beautifully and provides really opaque coverage and lasts all day. They also do a lipliner in this colour which gives a really nice outline, but isn't necessary for it to look bomb!

2. Weirdo, cream
Weirdo is one of the palest nude lipsticks I can pull off. It has a really pretty neutral look with an undertone that has a hint of pink in it so doesn't wash me out! It's a great colour, especially if you're pale and like a little hint of colour, but nothing to noticeable.

3. Mrs. Mia Wallace
I have so many red lipsticks as it is. But I am a die hard pulp fiction fan and was devastated to have missed Urban Decay's Pulp Fiction makeup collection. So when I heard they were re-releasing Mrs. Mia Wallace as part of the vice collection, I went online, put in my card details and boom it was mine. The colour is so beautiful, it's that kind of red that makes my teeth look really white, which is always a win for me! It also doesn't bleed in the day. There is nothing I hate more than spending hours perfecting your lipstick, to check on it half way through the day and look like you've gone as Count Dracula for Halloween!

4. Afterdark
Generally I don't like pink lipstick on my skin tone. I find the pink a bit too stark for my pale skin and dark hair. However, fear not my pale friends, this is the perfect everyday pink lipstick. It is a bit darker than a normal pink colour and has a brownish mauve undertone to it. I also love it because it really makes my blue eyes pop and is perfect for those days when I want a little extra something!

5. Conspiracy
Normally I don't like metallized lipstick formulas. I just find they look so un-natural and fake. But Conspiracy is my favourite brown shade. It is a really rich deep brown shade, that doesn't look too unnatural but looks like you have arrived to make a statement! I would prefer it without the shimmer, but none the less it's an amazing colour!

June Empties

I can't believe another month has rolled around and it's time for another monthly empties review. I got through six products this month (I know, I'm proud) and it was a bit of a mix of everything; Haircare, Skincare and makeup. Firstly, I used up my La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Sensitive SPF 50 Sunscreen. This isn't my favourite SPF but it does do the job. I wear three pumps of this on my face every day and it has lasted about 3 months. I think the formula is ok it can feel a bit sticky and takes a while to sink in but it isn't my favourite but it isn't a product I don't like. I have repurchased this, because SPF is THE most important part of my skincare routine and when I ran out I knew I could run to Superdrug and repurchase this, because I did not want to go without. Secondly, I finished my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. I cannot remember the last time I finished a foundation! This is, without a doubt, my favourite drugstore foundation. It bl...

July Empties

Ahhh another month another empties blog. I actually got through quite a bit of makeup this month, which is unusual for me as it's usually skincare I crank through.  The first product I used up was my beloved Glossier Futuredew. I didn't realise how much I loved this until it was gone. My makeup feels so much different without this as a base and I do miss it as part of my makeup routine. I have a few other primers to get through but I will definitely repurchase this one in the future. The second product I used was my benefit liquid eyeliner. I did like this liner; it's opaque, the felt tip is quite nice and it lasted such a long time before drying up. I do prefer brush tipped eyeliners as I find with hooded eyes my winged eyeliner always looks a lot more precise than with a pen style. So I purchased the KVD liquid eyeliner instead, but the benefit eyeliner is great just not my favourite.  My third empty is my smash box primer water. I adore this spray, it comes out as a f...

Reviewing Bioderma's Hydrabio Range

If you've followed my blog for a few years, you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands. Their Micellar water is a product I refuse to live without and I've gone through too many to count. I was over the moon when Bioderma kindly sent me their Hydrabio Range* to try. The Hydrabio range is aimed at combating dehydrated, dry, skin, which I'm especially prone to in winter. 1. Hydrabio Makeup Removing Micellar Water Now, Bioderma's Sensibio micellar water is a holy grail skincare product in my collection. Believe it or not, I didn't realise Bioderma did other varieties of micellar water for different skin concerns. I've been using the Hydrabio micellar water for a few days and I do find my skin feels more hydrated and plump, compared to the sensibio one. It removes makeup just as well as the Sensibio micellar water and I find the Hydrabio micellar water to be a little more gentle and soothing. I would definitely repurchase the Hydrabio version in...
