Top 5 Products From Liz Earle

Liz Earle skincare has always been that one brand I have constantly gone back to over the years. whenever I have acne flare ups or dry skin, I always spring back to my tried and tested routine. These are the products that whenever my skin is having a melt down I know will soothe and calm my skin (yes, I am aware there is a candle as one of my favourite products, that's more for the general meltdowns not just skin!)
Cleanse And Polish
The cleanse and polish from Liz Earle is such an iconic product, there really is nothing like it. You massage the cream onto dry skin and wipe it off with a hot cloth. It melts away makeup and leaves my skin so plump and soft. Not only does it remove makeup and cleanse, it smells unbelievable. It's full of natural oils and smells like you're at a spa.
Instant Boost Skin Tonic
This is amazing, point blank amazing. It's full of Vitamin E, chamomile and even cucumber. It's so refreshing and kind to the skin, doesn't dry and once again smells like a fancy spa. You can also order the bottle as a spritzer, in order to spray it!
Gentle Face Exfoliator
Although this exfoliator is advertised as not for sensitive skin, I find it to be perfect. The exfoliant itself is not to small so doesn't feel like sandpaper on your skin, but feels like a facial bush on your skin.
Skin Repair Moisturiser Dry/Sensitive
I am pretty fussy when it comes to moisturisers, I hate the feeling of  something sitting on your skin, not absorbing and becoming greasy. But as moisturisers go this is a good one, it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel greasy. It lasts so long as you only need a tiny amount. But, the smell of this is a bit odd, it's very strong and if you don't like strong smells this is not for you.
Eucalyptus & Rosemary Candle
When my skin is freaking out there is nothing more I love than a pamper night, put a face mask on, have some green tea and light a candle. I am the first to admit I have a candle problem, nothing soothes me or calms me more than a lovely candle. The smell of this candle just washes over me and relieves my stress and tension. I light it whenever I get anxious, or can't fall asleep or just stressing in general. This has become one of my favourite candles and I cannot get enough of it.

June Empties

I can't believe another month has rolled around and it's time for another monthly empties review. I got through six products this month (I know, I'm proud) and it was a bit of a mix of everything; Haircare, Skincare and makeup. Firstly, I used up my La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Sensitive SPF 50 Sunscreen. This isn't my favourite SPF but it does do the job. I wear three pumps of this on my face every day and it has lasted about 3 months. I think the formula is ok it can feel a bit sticky and takes a while to sink in but it isn't my favourite but it isn't a product I don't like. I have repurchased this, because SPF is THE most important part of my skincare routine and when I ran out I knew I could run to Superdrug and repurchase this, because I did not want to go without. Secondly, I finished my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. I cannot remember the last time I finished a foundation! This is, without a doubt, my favourite drugstore foundation. It bl...

July Empties

Ahhh another month another empties blog. I actually got through quite a bit of makeup this month, which is unusual for me as it's usually skincare I crank through.  The first product I used up was my beloved Glossier Futuredew. I didn't realise how much I loved this until it was gone. My makeup feels so much different without this as a base and I do miss it as part of my makeup routine. I have a few other primers to get through but I will definitely repurchase this one in the future. The second product I used was my benefit liquid eyeliner. I did like this liner; it's opaque, the felt tip is quite nice and it lasted such a long time before drying up. I do prefer brush tipped eyeliners as I find with hooded eyes my winged eyeliner always looks a lot more precise than with a pen style. So I purchased the KVD liquid eyeliner instead, but the benefit eyeliner is great just not my favourite.  My third empty is my smash box primer water. I adore this spray, it comes out as a f...

Reviewing Bioderma's Hydrabio Range

If you've followed my blog for a few years, you'll know Bioderma is one of my favourite skincare brands. Their Micellar water is a product I refuse to live without and I've gone through too many to count. I was over the moon when Bioderma kindly sent me their Hydrabio Range* to try. The Hydrabio range is aimed at combating dehydrated, dry, skin, which I'm especially prone to in winter. 1. Hydrabio Makeup Removing Micellar Water Now, Bioderma's Sensibio micellar water is a holy grail skincare product in my collection. Believe it or not, I didn't realise Bioderma did other varieties of micellar water for different skin concerns. I've been using the Hydrabio micellar water for a few days and I do find my skin feels more hydrated and plump, compared to the sensibio one. It removes makeup just as well as the Sensibio micellar water and I find the Hydrabio micellar water to be a little more gentle and soothing. I would definitely repurchase the Hydrabio version in...
