February and March Empties

Lately I've been making a real effort to use up products in my stash! Whether that's skincare hair care or makeup! I have also cracked through a lot of lip balms, I repeat, a LOT of lip balms because of my Accutane treatment. Skincare  Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish is a great staple cleanser, I love the stuff and this is probably my fourth bottle. I would definitely repurchase this, but at the minute my CeraVe cleanser is still my number one. I also used up the Liz Earle Skin Tonic, which I absolutely love, it's so refreshing and hydrating on my skin and will definitely be repurchasing! I had been hanging on to my Body Shop Skin Defence SPF for a long time. I'm not sure if it's been discontinued but I cannot find it anywhere! This never broke me out, it's got SPF 50 and sits really well under makeup. Gone but not forgotten. I also used up the Too Faced Hangover Rx Good to Go Moisturiser. This is an ok product, It has SPF 25 and does make my makeup si...

Glossier Skywash Review

Whenever Glossier launches anything, I just can't resist! I always loved the idea of swipe on liquid eyeshadows, but Glossiers lidstar's were just too shimmery for my taste... but Skywash.... right up my alley! These are matte liquid Eyeshadows, which claim to be buildable, long lasting (up to twelve hours) and easy to apply. I bought the shades echo, a cocoa brown and terra, a warm orange based brown. I love the concealer, doe foot like applicator, as it is small enough to swipe a good amount on my eyelid, without smearing it everywhere. I honestly can't tell you how easy these are to apply and blend out. A quick swipe on my eye and tap tap tap... I have a gorgeous wash of colour that's not patchy and looks divine! I love how quick and easy these are to apply and the fact they applied evenly really shocked me. They are also buildable, applying two coats gives me more of an evening look and a stronger wash of colour. To be honest... they aren't super long wear...

Bedizen Oils - How to use them and which is best for you?

Before I was on accutane, I was petrefied of using any kind of oil based product on my already super oily skin. Any oil I used resulted in a lot of powder.... everywhere. But now I need that extra moisture and hydration from the oils on my skin, but there was one problem, I didn't have a clue where to start! Bedizen kindly sent me a few of their oils to try and I 'm now an oil wizzard! I love the Bedizen Argan Oil because its such a good all round product. This is 100% organic and I use it on my body, my face and my hair! This lives in my everyday bag and i love putting 2 or 3 (or 10) drops on my hair, especially to take the frizz out if iv'e been out in the glorious welsh rain. I don't apply this in the morning because it's too heavy under my makeup, but at night I put about three drops all over my face as the last step of my skincare. Now the Pure Chilean Rosehip Seed oil, is my Jam. I use this in the morning under my makeup, for the dewiest, glowiest most J...

Tried & Tested - NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation

Normally if I saw the words 'hydrating', 'radiant' and 'moisturising' on a foundation bottle, I would stay as far away from it as possible and run and hide... under the bed. But now I'm on accutane I cannot get enough of anything that gives me glowy and radiant vibes... bathe me in it. So this is the first foundation I bought when my skin started to become dry (like sandpaper). First off, NARS never fails to impress with packaging. The glass bottle is so sleek and also has a pump (praise be!) that pumps just the right amount so I don't waste any. This foundation can definitely get to full coverage, but with a sponge can give a nice medium coverage, which I prefer for everyday. The consistency is pretty 'liquidy' which I don't mind and the formula is so beautiful on the skin. The foundation looks glowy and radiant without looking like I've just ran a marathon. It still looks like my skin when I'm wearing this which I also love, w...
