Five Dot Botanics Calm Shift Review

If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know I'm a sucker for a double cleanse. So when Five Dot Botanics kindly sent me their Calm Shift Cleansing balm*, I couldn't wait to try it. I've been trying this for a few weeks now, so I could see the long term effects of the balm, on my skin, before writing a review. First of all, I love the scent and feel of this product. If you're not into products that contain essential oils this may not be for you.. but I love products like this! It smells like a spa and has a really thick creamy consistency, it's a pleasure to use .  A little bit truly goes a long way with this product. One pump is enough to remove all my makeup which is a yes from me! It melts away makeup so easily and I don't need to tug or pull my skin for the product to work. It does feel quite oily but this is what I expect from a cleansing balm, I find this product looks like a cleansing balm but removes makeup like a cleansing oil.  Ove...

July Empties

 Ahhh another month another empties blog. I actually got through quite a bit of makeup this month, which is unusual for me as it's usually skincare I crank through.  The first product I used up was my beloved Glossier Futuredew. I didn't realise how much I loved this until it was gone. My makeup feels so much different without this as a base and I do miss it as part of my makeup routine. I have a few other primers to get through but I will definitely repurchase this one in the future. The second product I used was my benefit liquid eyeliner. I did like this liner; it's opaque, the felt tip is quite nice and it lasted such a long time before drying up. I do prefer brush tipped eyeliners as I find with hooded eyes my winged eyeliner always looks a lot more precise than with a pen style. So I purchased the KVD liquid eyeliner instead, but the benefit eyeliner is great just not my favourite.  My third empty is my smash box primer water. I adore this spray, it comes out as a f...
