Life After Accutane

So when I first decided to go on accutane I was terrified. I'd heard every horror story and quite honestly I'd convinced myself every bad thing was going to happen to me. Initially I was on a six month course... but good old Corona meant my treatment ended after 4 months, which I was kind of happy about but kind of thought what's going to happen to my skin?  So the symptoms kind of started small and became more noticeable the longer I was on accutane. One of the main symptoms I had was extremely dry eyes... They were constantly watering and I would have to squint constantly which wasn't fun. This started after about two months and got worse. I used optrex eye drops and the eye doctor heated eye mask which helped so much ! My eyes stopped watering almost immediately after I stopped taking Accutane! Tried & Tested - Clinique Even Better Refresh Foundation

I bought the Clinique foundation after my skin became super dry from Accutane and I found everything looked cakey! This foundation claims to be super hydrating and moisturising and improve your skin while you wear it. First off, squeezy tube, yes please. I love squeezy tubes, they're great for travel and easy to just throw in a bag. I just find them so much better than glass bottles (I am so accident prone). The colour range is ok, it could be better. I find clinique's lighter shades tend to be quite orange looking so make sure you get a sample before you buy it. I am the shade Flax, which does match me pretty well, but does oxidise slightly over the day. It's not a "oh god I'm a carrot" moment, but probably oxidises to half a shade darker. I love this foundation, it is so beautiful. It's dewy, full coverage and didn't cake on my dry skin. I get so many compliments on my skin whenever I wear this and it does hydrate my skin.
